Alzbetas Story

Picture of Alzbeta

Alzbeta is a young mum from Eastern Europe. She has a three year old child and they currently live in North Staffordshire.

Alzbeta wasn't sure how to get back into employment so she booked an advice session with a nextstep Adviser.  The Adviser  worked with Alzbeta helping her to overcome her barriers, build her confidence and help her get back into work.  The Adviser also helped Albzeta to produce a CV, covering letter and practised interview techniques with her.

Following a successful work placement Alzbeta was offered an interview for a job. We are delighted to say that her hard work paid off, as she was offered a full time job with a local company as an Administration Assistant.

Alzbeta said “ I am very grateful to my Adviser for her help in finding me work with Britannia. I think it is a very good idea to be able to do a one day work experience with a company as this shows that people are willing to learn new skills and to give people a chance. Being at Britannia for this day gave me a lot of confidence, I was able to learn and see what was involved. “
