nextstep Helpline Advisers
The Helpline Advisers deal with a wide variety of calls and requests from members of the public. They can provide advice when appropriate but they try to encourage adults to book an advice session with an adviser at a convienient location near them. There are five members of staff who currently work on the nextstep helpline.

Steve Lovatt - Business Manager (Adult)
Steve is the Business Manager (Adult) and is responsible for the management and co-ordination of the adult contracts held by Connexions Staffordshire, which includes the nextstep service.
Brian Morris – Connexions IAG Lead Adviser (South)
Brian is one of two Lead Advisers working on the nextstep service and supports partners in the South of the county.
IAG Lead Advisers' jobs involve contract and quality monitoring of the adult sub-contracted partners as well as offering support with service delivery. They also liaise with Connexions Adult Advisers based in Adult Centres and Jobcentres to provide a comprehensive advice service that is continually developing to improve availability of service.
Teresa Foster - Connexions IAG Lead Adviser (North)
Teresa has the same role role as Brian but she works with partners in the North of the county, including Stoke-on-Trent.
Niall McPhilemy, Adult Marketing Officer
Niall is the Adult Marketing Officer, based at Connexions Staffordshires Head Office in Stafford and is responsible for marketing and promoting the nextstep service across the county and in Stoke-on-Trent. The majority of the marketing involves promoting the service to the target audiences, key stake holders and supporting sub-contracted partners. The work includes; producing marketing and promotional materials, developing specific campaigns, producing newsletters, Public Relations, Advertising and maintaining the website.
